Ordo partners with several public charter schools across the Atlanta metro area
We're excited to announce that Ordo will provide food service for multiple public charter schools across the Atlanta metro area this upcoming school year, from Roswell to Smyrna to South Fulton. Our new and continuing public school partners include Amana Academy West, Fulton Academy of Science and Technology, Chattahoochee Hills Charter School, and International Charter Academy of Georgia. Our team is looking forward to serving our signature fresh, homestyle meals to students at these schools all year long.
At Ordo, we specialize in scratch-made food prepared daily from whole ingredients—from the grilled chicken to the muffins—and we don't use the highly processed ingredients that have become the norm in so many school cafeterias. We're also pioneers in farm-to-school, sourcing from local farms, vendors, and suppliers so that meals are fresher, menus are more varied, and food dollars stay in the community.
Families and administrators place orders through our online portal, where they can see exactly what's on the menu and filter choices by dietary restrictions and allergies. Ordo offers both vended meal service, where we deliver freshly prepared breakfast, lunch, and snack each morning, and onsite food service management with our chefs preparing meals right on campus.
When schools move from processed, heat-and-serve meals to Ordo's fresh, scratch-made menus, we consistently see participation in the lunch program climb—a pattern we call the "Ordo Effect"—with some of our partner public schools more than doubling participation in their first year.
These charter partners join schools that we already serve across metro Atlanta, including Crabapple Montessori School, Cumberland Academy of Georgia, and Springmont School.
